• Christmas Eve 2014

What a beautiful Christmas Eve day, had a little surf, lunch and mulled wine in the pub followed by a little walk with Lisa and Coral, we even saw a load of dolphins just off the harbour in Porthleven to finish the day off. Hope you all have a great Christmas! 🙂

DreamyvibesStoked to see this one in this months Carve magazine. What a session this was a few weeks back. More of these days please.

  • September summer

Morning everone, here’s some sunflare from yesterday to start the day off.

Loving having the nikon d800 in the water, it’s only 4 frames per second but the quality of the image is amazing! I can’t wait to print some big canvas from it.

  • Freediving

Stoked to have spent the last few days doing the Aida 1&2 Star Freedive course with Ian & Rich from FreediveUK https://www.facebook.com/freedive.UK It was awesome fun and learned loads. Looking forward to bringing some new perspectives to my photography. 🙂

  • Sponsored swim for Surfers Against Sewage

Guinness was amazing after my 10 mile swim from the Lizard Point to Porthleven today for Surfers Against Sewage. I managed to do it quicker than I thought at 5 hours and 2 minutes so really stoked! A few seals followed me for a while at the start which I didn’t know about until I saw the pics. It was so cold at the start but by the time we got near Mullion the sun was shining and we could see Porthleven in the distance. Thanks to everyone who has sponsored me and all the support generally has been amazing! Thanks to my bro for kayaking it with me and keeping me pumped up. Thanks Lisa for feeding me like a king all week. The sponsored page is open for the next few days if anyone wants to donate. Still time to donate https://www.justgiving.com/Mike-Lacey-Photography/

  • SUP Lizard point to Porthleven

Hope you all had a great weekend in the sunshine. As it was pretty flat surf me and my brother went on a stand up paddle mission form the Lizard point to Porthleven which took about three and a half hours. If you haven’t tried paddle boarding yet, put it on the do list this summer, it’s so much fun just cruising and exploring the coastline. We saw some dolphins and loads of Jellyfish along the way. Thanks to Vertical Blue for the boards https://www.facebook.com/verticalbluecornwall

I’m aiming to swim from the Lizard point to Porthleven this Saturday which could take about 6-7 hours for Surfers Against Sewage who are doing an amazing job of keeping our beaches and waters clean for us all to enjoy. Here’s a link to my sponsor page if you want to get involved https://www.justgiving.com/Mike-Lacey-Photography/  we are giving away a nice big framed photo to someone that donates which will be drawn on the Monday after the swim. It’s going to be a tough one so any support is much appreciated. Cheers everyone.
