It’s been many years since i used a 35mm film camera and thanks to Megan Hemsworth I’m now hooked on shooting with film as well as digital. I find digital is amazing for getting photos of the waves and printing really big for the gallery and film has this beautiful aesthetic for shooting portraits and all the behind the scene documentary moments of chasing waves around Cornwall. I hope you like these few below taken over the last month or so.

Love this moody Porthleven shot, looks like it was taken back in the 70’s.
Kynance Cove has to be one of the most scenic places in Cornwall. Given it’s white sandy beaches and rugged cliff tops and caves, exploring here is always an adventure.
Porthcurno is still my favorite place to be, the crystal clear waters in the summer make it look just like the Mediterranean.
I love shooting with the Nikon FM2. The four photos above were taken on this camera.
This was my first photo I took on a hasselblad 500cm. I walked straight out of the gallery and Oscar was working on the bulkheads. It felt like a planned shoot, great subject, beautiful diffused light and the textures of the metal and stone work complimented this moment so well.
